My sons 1988 trx 125 wont keep the battery charged. I think the battery is good because i charged it a couple weeks ago and i can still start the atv with it. When the battery does die you can still start the atv with the pull starter and it seems to run fine but the lights don't work. If you take the battery out and start it and put a volt meter on the battery leads there's only 1.20 volts being delivered to charge the battery . I was thinking the voltage regulator rectifier was the problem because if it was the altanator I wouldn't think the atv would be running ok.

| i saw parts for a trx125 on ebay about 2 days ago. try there for parts unless you want to pay OEM prices |
