| I have two 2005 polaris sportsman 400's. I am experiencing the same problem with both. The problem started just days apart. One bike has 638 miles and 66.7 hours the other has 551 miles and 55.3 hours; hardly enough miles and hours to have this kind of problem. When I put them in high gear they bind and I can hear noise from the driven clutch the bike inches along making noise and finaly binding to a halt with the engine reving up. They run fine in reverse, a little rough in low gear and won't move in high. I get the same results in both 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive. I have changed the belt and nothing changed; when I put one on a jack with all 4 wheels off the ground and it ran fine in all gears including 2 and 4 wheel drive. I'm scratching my head raw? HELP! |

| This sounds alot like the problem I had in the past. The way that I solved it was the buttons in the driven clutch. It's an easy fix and a cheap one. |
