|
|
| I have a 2005 Yamaha Bruin 350. It has what appears to be a grease zert on the top of the rear-end. The rear-end fluid is coming out of the grease zert when the bike is in motion. Is this actually a grease zert and could it be stuck open? |

What the fluid is coming out of is most likely a breather for the rear end.
Has rear end been submerged recently?
Would recommend draining rear end and filling with correct amount of recommended gear oil.

| Ross, I thought the same thing and did exactly what you are suggesting before I began seeking help. It was fine for about a day, then the new fluid began coming out. |

| Not yet, thought that I would try to work through it on my own with a little help from fellow riders. I've got to work all weekend, so I'll touch bases with them early next week. Thanks for the assistance. |
