2002 700sp no spark plug fire

hello from florida
I am not able to test my ignition because I dont have any info. that tells me what to test and where to test at. I know that there is a slack throttle gap on handle its good but as far as testing the coil /cdi or the voltage coming in or stator wires I dont know where to start.I have the tools just need help with the proceedure and where the test points are.prints would really help!
