I have a 2007 Honda Rancher and today I was backing it out of my garage, put in 1st gear and it died. Now...on the digital display where it tells you what gear your in it only shows a minus. Like its in between gears. Usually when this happens all I do is rock back and forth and it shows a gear. I put it in nuetral and it starts. For some reason this isn't working. The wheels are turning and it seems like its confused between N and 1st. Is this a safety thing and can I fix it?
