It was sitting for almost a year with a dead battery. Installed new battery, cleaned up and changed the oil and greased etc. When I turn the key on the Hi-Temp light comes on even when the engine is cold. I have traced all the wires and everything seems to be fine. Also, the cooling fan on the oil cooler does not run. Are there fuses somewhere? I cannot find any.

I had the same problem. Turns out it was a recall issue concerning the ECM. Polaris replaced the ECM at no cost. Problem went away.
