| Just bought a new 250 Jackel and have a backfire problem under partial throttle only, both under cold and warm conditions. Appears resolved when partial choke is applied. This also occured when test driving another unit, but I thought it would correct itself when warmed up. Is this a common lean condition with this unit or is there another fix? thanks |

| it starts great, idles great, it just hickups under low throttle while under load. It gets better as the unit warms up, but it never runs correctly without being partially choked. Full throttle its fine. I read on Mikuni's website that this is indicative of to lean low throttle circuit, I just have no idea of how to fix it as I can't lookup this model number. Take it back to the dealer is probably the answer, I was just wondering if Jackel has this figured out already being that the two units I rode both have this issue. |
