| I have a 1997 Sportsman 500. My son was riding the other day (Cold,temps in the single digits) said it started ticking,the red temp. light came on and died. I pulled it in the barn, got it started, but now it is ticking very loud and smoking blue smoke. What could the problem be???? Thanks, Brad |

| the problem is that you gave your atvv cold seizure it cracks the head case and gets too much air which leads it to eventually burn out the engine id say bring it to a speciallist |

| didn't give the engine time to warm up. it went from cold to hot very fast and you cracked the head. take it to repair shop. |
