My cousin's Foreman has been hard starting recently,not shifting into 4wd, and now will not start. We checked and replaced the battery (it was tired & spark plug). It still wouldn't start, so we checked for fuel, compression & spark. No spark. we checked for loose & broken wires without sucsess.
I am not very familiar with ATVs and would enjoy any suggestions.

check the condenser,coil, points, and maybe other components. if u are not familiar w/ four wheelers then you should take it to a dealer because electrical parts are hard to deal with. most electronic parts are cheap, under 10 dollars. The coil is the easiest and 1st thing that should be replaced.  |
