Hey All:

My buddy and I replaced the top end on his 1987 Honda 250R TRX quad last night. We compression checked the cylinder and it checked out at 150psi, we checked for spark and that was fine, and we checked the gas lines into the carburetor and they were flowing properly. However, we couldn't get it to start up after giving it a bunch of kicks.

Our next step is to use starter fluid, and if that doesn't work, we'll clean out the carburetor. Does anyone have any insight as to other possible solutions we can try to get this thing fired up?

Thanks for your help ahead of time.

John
