I've got a 1999 Polaris 2 stroke 250cc Trailblazer. Electric starter has been
out for several years. It ran good, I just didn't have an electric start...I
used the pull starter.
Well I finally bought a new starter and the correct tools (like clutch puller)
to replace the electric starter. Pulled front clutch pulley, removed clutch
cover, removed the rope pull start, and replaced the starter.
Put unit back together...job went very well. The new electric starter turns
engine over great. However it WILL NOTSTART. Has great spark. So I
cleaned the carb. It tends to spit gas out the back of the carb. It does not
seem to be pulling gas into the cylinder. Checked compression and it's a little
over 110 PSI. Only thing I can think of is that I have some kind of crankcase
leak somewhere. Drained crankcase and even tried spraying
starting fluid into carb. I put every screw and bolt back like it should be. Any
