I have sold about 100 Jackel's over the past 10 months and I wanted to share some advice on how to make the Jackel's perfect for your retail cusotmers
1. Make sure to tighten every nut and bolt on the ATV
2. Read the PSI instructions on the side of the tires, they are typicall hard as a rock and need to have some of the air let out.
3. Make sure that you hook up the battery to a charger for a couple of hours before you put it on the unit. I used to have to do this when I did PDI for Polaris. This will properly charge and help maintainthe batteries strength.
4. Lastly, and most important, be sure to let the units run for about 20 minutes and then change the oil right away. This oil, as with Polaris, is a thin break in oil and should not be used for extensive riding. I use 20W-50 regular motor oil. Do not every use synthetic, too expensive and these little machines do not need it.
I hope this help some of the dealers out there. I always say, the better the Pre-Delivery Inspection the less maintenance I have to do after the sale. |
