|
|
| A friend of mine is looking to get a small Quad for his son. He doesn’t want to shell out a bunch of money on a name brand ATV that his kid is just going to grow out of in a couple of years, but he does not want to buy a cheap piece of junk that he is going to be constantly trying to fix and his kid never gets to ride because it is always broken. We were looking around on-line the other day at different brands and models and found out there is a ton of stuff out there. We even found identical units on separate web sites but there was a difference in price of several hundred dollars. How do you know what is good and what is junk. What is a good deal and what is going to be a big head ache. I am just helping him do some ATV research |

| Jackel atv's and dirtbikes are offering basically the same warranty as your name brand players. Six months engine and drive train, three months bumper to bumper. That sure does beat any other warranty out there! |

Daniel,
Do you know about the Jackel kid atvs? I'm looking around and don't see much. There is a Honda kids atv and a few others.

| The kids atv market is getting larger by the day. I recommend the 90R youth size atv for the children. That youth atv is basically the higest in kids quality. It carrys all the bell and whistles like japanes parts, makuni carbs, and NGK plugs. Backing that up is a full warranty and parts availability. My son loves it. Thanks Dean and Jackel. |

The Redcat Warranty is actually what got me looking on this site. My nephew has a Redcat and they have had problems since the first time they rode it. When they called their dealer, they were told that they couldn't get any parts. When they called Redcat, they couldn't get any results either. The dealer my sister bought it from said that he was looking at starting to sell the Jackel brand. Too bad it doesn't help my sister.

I bought a Skout Quad. I actually bought two. The SSR-300 (250cc) and the SSR125 (125cc) for my son. Both quads are great! They had good feedback on their Q&A forum. Might want to check them out I think the SSR300 was $1600 and the SSR125 was $1200. I don't think they sell dirt bikes and so I am on the hunt!
I thought Jacel was buying Red Cat and Kazuma and decided to name their bikes Jacel? I read some where about this online. Interesting.
